146/365 Horseback Riding

146/365 Horseback Riding
Oma took the kids horseback riding.
I was hoping that my intense fear of horses wouldn't get passed down to them.
I'm pleased to say that there was only a slight look of terror on LIttle Mamas face this time, better than
the first time when she cried?
I also think it was kind of a cruel joke to get her on her horse first and then make her sit up there
for 10 minutes while everyone else was getting on their horses. Anyway MacPoof, the horse that is,
seemed to treat Little Mama ok.

The Rhino seems to love to ride horses. He is very comfortable and likes to make them GO !!!
His horses name was Tess and she gave him a little attitude but luckily Aunt Danielle was there
to poke him with a branch !!!

And poor Aunt Danielle, I thought for sure this horse was going to give her trouble.
She said that she had a nice ride, I mean after all the horses name was Mercy!!

Oma looks mighty fancy in her riding gear, really experienced too.
Thanks Oma for taking the kids riding, they really enjoy that.
PS save some money so you can take Little Man riding soon.

I don't know what this horses name is but I was JUST trying to take a picture and he was either talking to me or trying to bite me?
I think he needs a toothbrush.

145/365 How to get your child to bathe often !!!

145/365 How to get your child to bathe often !!!
It's true I have a secret to share.
It might not be something that you need to know at this exact moment but you might
in the future, so listen up !!
You got to Bed Bath and Beyond and you buy one of these twirly hair towels.

Then they magically bathe every few minutes, at least the first few days.
Thanks Oma !!!

144/365 Alligator, AGAIN !!

144/365 Alligator
We were driving out of my brothers neighborhood and saw this man with his cell phone out.
At first I thought there was something strange happening and maybe he needed help. So we kind of pulled over and that's when he told us there was an alligator.

He was probably 5 or 6 feet long, not very big but long. It was kind of thrilling, even though we were
way out in the suburbs!!!

143/365 Family G.

143/365 Family G.
They were such troopers, it was very hot and sticky this morning.
It had rained the night before, hence the rainboots.

They look so much alike !!!

142/365 Girls

142/365 Girls
All pretty in Pink. These girls were so very sweet. They had alot of energy, the kind I see mostly in boys, and so much personality.

It was my first challenge with a 2 yr old.
Remember their favorite word is NO !!!
It was a huge learning experience and I would love to see them again anytime !

141/365 Jax

141/365 Jax
Little Mama got some for her birthday along with the game of Tiddle Winks.
I forgotten how much time I spent as a child playing jax and how much time my mother spent on
the kitchen floor playing jax with me !!!

I love those kind of simple old games like jax and jump rope and tiddle winks and chinese jumprope.
They are quiet and simple.

139/365 Bubbles

139/365 Bubbles
I saw this photo, I can't remember where, of a photographer getting her perfect reflection in a bubble.
I thought it was so crisp and clear. Well you should have seen me trying to get a shot of the bubbles at Little Man's splash day, I'm sure there were some parents thinking I was weird, I felt a little weird. Anyway it was much harder than I ever would have imagined. Bubbles in the wind are fast and my auto focus couldn't really handle the situation. So in manual  focus, all bets are off, I have bad eyes. This first one isn't great but it's exciting that I actually caught one.

This one was much more exciting, I knew the moment I got it.
I'll be working on some more bubble shots and let you see what I come up with.
